How We Measure

Pit to pit (P2P)
Measured flat from armpit seam to armpit seam.

Length
Measured flat from the highest point of the shoulder (near collar) to the bottom hem (back).


Era Fit Guide

1980s–1990s (Classic Fit)

  • Generally boxy and roomy

  • Wider chest cut

  • Traditional loose silhouette

These often fit larger than modern shirts.


2000s (Standard Fit)

  • More structured than 90s

  • True-to-size feel

  • Slightly more tailored shape


2010s (Athletic Fit)

  • Slimmer through body

  • More tapered cut

  • Shorter sleeve profile


2020s (Modern Fit)

Fan / Replica

  • True-to-size retail fit

  • Designed for everyday wear

Player Issue / Authentic

  • Performance cut

  • Slimmer and more fitted

  • Often 2–3 cm narrower than fan version in the same labelled size
